M.S. Degree, Bremen University, Germany
During my Master thesis, I was engaged in the ecology of Antarctic ice algae and now would like to gain insights into the marine mammal research. I am planning on pursuing my Ph.D. studies in this area.
Under the supervision of the lab head Dr. Markus Horning and the Faculty Research Assistant Kim Raum-Suryan, I am involved in the study about the attendance patterns and entanglement rates of Steller sea lions at Sea Lion Caves, Oregon. Additionally, I'm preparing my PhD project which will address the sensory system of pinnipeds.
